In the COMMUNITY ROOM

Update: the date for this meeting is Monday March 26, not Tuesday March 27 as originally posted here.

The Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF) works to increases quality child care spaces in low
income communities by building partnerships with community developers to support the
inclusion of child care facilities within health, faith-based, education and housing developments.

One way LIIF promotes this strategy is by convening regular meetings that are structured peer
support for community developers in the area of child care facility development. These meetings
are a place where community developers can openly share challenges and successes, and where
they learn and build on each other’s experiences for the purpose of creating quality child care
spaces throughout California.
